Fire Mishap In Raigad's Pharma Factory; 4 Dead, 7 Missing: Maharashtra

The fire that broke out at a pharmaceutical company in Maharashtra's Raigad district a day ago has killed four persons and left seven others injured, and a search operation is underway to trace seven missing individuals, an official said on November 4.  The blaze erupted at Blue Jet Healthcare at the Mahad MIDC in neighbouring Raigad at 11:00 AM, and search operation by the concerned authority is underway.

Sikkim Flash Floods: Death Count Rises To 30, Authorities Rescue 62 Missing People

The count in the flash flood in North Sikkim rose to 30, with four more bodies found on October 8. The rescue teams ar alos working to locate missing people. As of now, 62 people reportedly missing for the past three days have been found alive, the confirmed government agency said in Gangtok. The Sikkim State Diaster Management Authority(SSDMA)  confirmed missing people count came down to 81.

UP: 2 Storey Building Collapsed, 2 Dead 10 Trapped

Two people died and 10 others were injured after a double-storey building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki on early Monday morning. The authorities suspect that around three to four people may still be trapped under the debris and are carrying out a search and rescue operation to locate them, the police said. The visuals of the dramatic collapse is going viral on social media platforms.

Rescue Operation For Punjab Floods Re-Unite Mother-Son After 35 Years

A mother-son duo reunited after 35 years of separation due to the Punjab Floods rescue operation. A man Jagjit Singh (37) participated in a rescue operation, during which he was re-united with his mother, whom he thought to be dead. Notably, Jagjit's mother remarried after her husband's death, and shifted to Patiala, whereas then his two-year-old son was taken by his grandparents, with no information about his mother.

Raigad Rescue Operation Officially Ended, 57 People Missing

The rescue operation for the Raigad Landslide incident ended officially on July 24.  As per sources, at least 27 bodies were recovered from the debris and 144 were rescued. Although 57 people are still missing, the villagers in Irshalwadi tribal region, requested the disaster management rescue team to call off the operation, as majority of bodies are decomposing and risk of infection is increasing, troubling the residents.

Raigarh Landslide Incident Kills 4 People, 3 Injured, Rescue Operation Underway

Four people died and three were injured, after a tragic landslide in the Raigarh region of Maharashtra. According to sources, on July 19 at midnight, a landslide was reported in  Irshalwadi village in Khalapur tehsil, leaving people injured and dead. The disaster management and NDRF teams rushed to the spot and rescued 22 people feared trapped under the debris. In addition, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also arrived at the site.

Greece Boat Capsized: 209 Pakistanis Onboard Reportedly Dead

In one of the deadliest sea accidents, at least 209 Pakistanis were on an overloaded boat that capsized and sank in open seas off Greece last week. Loaded with over 700 people from Pakistan, the boat capsized, following which a search operation was launched. In addition, the officials issued a list including names of 11 missing people, who hailed from Pakistan and going to Greece as migrants, illegally.

Submarine Titan On Clock With Limited Oxygen, Rescue Underway

Submarine Titan, which began its journey to the Titanic wreck site, situated at a depth of 12,500 feet in the Atlantic Ocean, lost contact after nearly two hours on June 18. It has been days but there is no sign of the submarine. The rescue teams are racing against the clock to locate the vessel and its five-person crew. The submarine is equipped with a four-day emergency oxygen support.
