3 Killed, 5 Injured In Building Collapse Incident: Visakhapatnam

Explosion Reported At Cold Storage Unit In Meerut, Workers Trapped

In Uttar Pradesh's Meerut, an explosion of the compressor at cold storage was reported. In the incident which occurred on February 24 afternoon, 15 workers are suspected to be trapped under the lenter of the unit. The lenter plunged due to the jolt of the explosion and the pressure of the burst.  There were over 25 workers in the unit, of which 12 are evacuated. A rescue operation is underway.

Indian Rescue Force Returns From Earthquake Hit Turkey-Syria

The 47-member Indian rescue team, which went to the earthquake hit Turkey-Syria, returned to India on February 17. The team of NDRF along with dog squad Rambo and Honey flew to India after conducting a 10-day rescue operation in the quake hit region. After 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Turkey-Syria, the Indian Government announced 'Operation Dost'and sent a team from the Indian Army to set up rescue zones in Turkey.

The Indian Government send its first batch of aid to Istanbul, extending help to handle the severe consequences of the Syria-Turkey earthquake. the two earthquakes in the Syria-Turkey regions killed over 4,000 people and left many injured, with several building collapses and property damaged. Earthquake Of 7.4 Magnitudes Hit Turkey, 15 Dead

An earthquake of 7.4 magnitudes hit the regions of Turkey, on February 6. The natural disaster killed five people in the province of Osmaniye and 10 more in Sanliurfa, confirmed local sources. In addition, approximately 34 buildings were collapsed and properties were damaged due to the earthquake in Turkey, which struck at 04:17 am local time (0117 GMT) at a depth of about 17.9 kilometres (11 miles).

Avalanches Hit Skiing Resort Leaving 2 Foreigners Dead: J&K

In Jammu & Kashmir's Gulmarg region, massive avalanches hit a skiing resort, on February 1. So far 19 skiers have been rescued and recovered two bodies, said to be skiers from Poland. A rescue operation is underway to rescue trapped people. "So far 19 foreign nationals have been rescued successfully. Dead bodies of two foreign nationals recovered and being shifted to hospital for medico-legal procedures,” said the police.

4-Year-Old Dies After Building Collapsed In Delhi's Lahori Area

In a tragic accident, a four-year-old girl lost her life, after a building collapsed in Lahori gate, Delhi. The incident occurred on the evening of October 9, confirmed the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). The force further added, that approximately 10 people were severely injured, and are currently undergoing treatment at the LPJ Hospital, whereas one is said to be serious. Moreover, an investigation into the matter is underway.

Uttarakhand's Pauri Bus Accident KIlls 25 People, Police Conducts Rescue

In Uttarakhand's Pauri bus accident, 25 people were killed, on the incident took place on the evening of October 4.  The incident occurred at 7:30 pm, in the Birokhal area of the Dhumakot region, confirmed Deputy General of Police Ashok Kumar. Furthermore, police and SDRF launched a rescue operation and rescued 21 people overnight, shifting the injured to nearby hospitals. Moreover,  a case is registered and an investigation is underway.
