India To Be Renamed As Bharat, GoI To Pass Resolution In Parliament

The Government of India is likely to introduce a resolution, renaming India as Bharat. The decision came after the official invite to the G20 Heads of State and ministers for a dinner being hosted by President by Droupadi Murmu with the heading President of Bharat. Kerala Govt Passes Resolution, Urges Center To Rename State

Haryana CM Raises Chandigarh Issue, Moves Resolution

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar moved a resolution in the Haryana State Assembly session on April 5.  The resolution was in regard to the construction of the Sutlej-Yamuna Link Canal.  In the moved resolution, the Haryana CM urged the BJP-led Central Government to ensure the construction of the canal.
