Badrinath NH-7 In Uttarakhand Obstructed By Sliding Stones; Reconstruction Work Ongoing
The Badrinath National Highway-7 in Karnprayag was closed for many hours on August 4 because of rocks falling from a hill near Panchpulia. According to Superintendent of Police Chamoli Shweta Choubey, the task of opening the roadway has been undertaken. Passengers traveling to Badrinath at night were stopped at Gauchar for safety, and pilgrims traveling to Rishikesh were halted between Karnprayag and Langasu.

Bengaluru Restores Bingipura Lake; Govt To Plant Thousand Saplings
Bengaluru's Bingipura Lake which was contaminated due to disposal of waste for years was restored last month. However, after the filtration process was completed, the Karnataka government has decided to plant several trees in order to conserve the landfills. Maharashtra Govt Sanctions Rs 43 Cr To Renovate 1000-year-old Temple
The Maharashtra government has allocated Rs 43 crore fund to renovate the 1,000-year-old Shiva temple in Ambernath. The beautification process to be carried out in two phases will develop a garden, guest house and an amphitheatre.
