Tennis legend Serena Williams has announced her retirement on August 9, reported Vogue. The 40-year-old has won 73 career singles, 23 career doubles titles. In an emotional post, William who is a mother said, "A lot of people don’t realize that I was two months pregnant when I won the Australian Open in 2017. But I’m turning 41 this month, and something’s got to give." Hence, she announced her retirement.
