Karnataka Govt To Take Appropriate Action Over Textbook Controversy: CM Bommai
The Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai said, after reviewing the report of the Education Minister, the BJP-led Karnataka Government will take action over the textbook controversy. On May 31, CM Bommai said, "Appropriate action would be taken after getting the report." Notably, the revised syllabus of Class X students in Kannada created controversy with allegations of insulting poet Kuvempu's state anthem and other revolutionaries.

India’s First Indoor Athletic Stadium To Be Built In Bhubnewar: CM Naveen Patnaik
Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik undertook a ground assessment of the works for the indoor athletic stadium project at the Kalinga Stadium complex in Bhubaneswar. “This indoor athletic facility will be a major boost for the development of athletics in India and will become the hub to create champions in coming years,'' stated Patnaik. Notably, the indoor athletic stadium is being built at a cost of Rs 120 crore.
