Sushant Singh Rajput's Family Members Killed In Road Accident
In a road accident, five members of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's family were killed in Bihar's Lakhisarai district, on November 16. The family members of the late actor were returning from Patna, after attending the last rites of Geeta Devi, who is the sister of Rajput's brother-in-law. The members of his family were in a "Sumo" which collided with an ongoing truck killing at least six people.

NCB Challenges Bombay HC's Bail To Rhea Chakraborty In Supreme Court
The Bombay High Court's bail grant to actress Rhea Chakraborty has been challenged by the Narcotics Control Bureau as it filed a special leave petition before the Supreme Court. In connection with the drug angle related to the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, Rhea was granted bail in October 2020. However, the NCB has stated that the actress was "an active member of a drug syndicate". The case will be heard on March 18.

Actor Akshay Kumar filed a defamation case of Rs 500 crore against a YouTuber Rashid Siddiqui who mentioned him in the Sushant Singh Rajput's demise case. In his videos, Siddiqui stated that Akshay had supported Rhea Chakraborty to flee to Canada. He even said that Akshay was unhappy after SSR was picked for the movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. However, the 25-year-old YouTuber from Bihar made 15 lakh from those videos.

Rhea Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda Get Bail; Showik To Remain Under Custody
Actress Rhea Chakraborty, who was arrested by the NCB, received bail with conditions on October 7 from the Bombay High Court. However, the court denied bail to Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty. Reportedly, Rhea has been asked to mark her presence daily at a police station for ten days. She is barred from travelling abroad as well. The court also granted bail to Sushant's manager Samuel Miranda and staff Dipesh Samant.

CVC Reports 1,239 Cases Pending Before CBI Till December 2019
Central Vigilance Commission’s annual report pointed to pendency of 744 CBI cases for over a year. Reportedly, total 1,239 investigations were pending till December 2019. CVC cited manpower shortage, locating witnesses, delay in forensics and departmental non-cooperation as major reasons. Actor Rakul Preet Files Petition; Delhi HC To Conduct Hearing on October 15
Actor Rakul Preet Singh had filed a petition, after which she writes an application to Delhi High Court seeking urgent interim direction asking Indian Media to stop linking her with the Rhea Chakraborty 'drug case'. Government Sources Claim 'No Bollywood Names in NCB List'
On September 13, a source mentioned that Rhea Chakraborty hasn't revealed any names of Bollywood actors related to the drug case. Reportedly, the source claimed it to be a TRP stunt and named it "The Arnab effect". NCB deputy-director KPS Malhotra also stated that they have not prepared any Bollywood list. Earlier, Bollywood actors Sara Ali Khan and others were mentioned by a TV channel as named by Rhea Chakraborty.
