OYO founder and CEO Ritesh Agarwal tied the knot on March 7. He invited celebrities, political leaders and Soft Bank's son for his wedding reception, in New Delhi. Highlighting the event, Billionaire investor and SoftBank Group Founder Masayoshi Son, blessed the newlywed. Notably, in the start-up world, SoftBank has been a prominent and prolific investor. Besides Masayoshi Son, many big names of the startup world attended the event.

OYO Founder Ritesh Agarwal along with his mother visited Delhi to meet PM Narendra Modi. On February 19, Agarwal met PM Modi and invited him to his wedding scheduled in March. "With the blessings of Pradhan Mantri @narendramodi ji, we are all set for a new beginning. Words cannot express the warmth with which he received us. Mumbai-Based Startup 'Freight Tiger' Raises $6.5 Million Funds
Freight Tiger has raised $6.5 million in funds powered by Florintree Infra on Sept 11. It's a Mumbai-based startup focused on India's freight industry. Several new as well as existing investors like Aroa Venture, the Family office fund of OYO Founder Ritesh Agarwal, Lightspeed India Partners, Moonstone Investments, and Pawan Munjal Family Trust participated in fundraising. The company aims to make India's $125 million freight industry.

OYO Has Filed Bankruptcy Is Absolutely Untrue And Inaccurate, Clarifies CEO Ritesh Agarwal
OYO's CEO Ritesh Agarwal clarifying about the fake rumours around OYO filing for bankruptcy ‘is absolutely untrue and inaccurate.’ A fake PDF and text message is being circulated on social media saying OYO has filed for bankruptcy. However, the issue was entirely different where a claimant was seeking Rs 16 lakhs from OYO, which was already paid. For the same, OYO has appealed to NCLAT challenging the order.
