Fashion Brands' Untreated Pollutants Dyeing African Rivers Blue

According to a report by the non-profit Water Witness, blue and indigo dyes are flowing along with the water in rivers in some African countries. UP: Religious Leaders Asked To Urge People Not To Dump Bodies In River

In an attempt to stop people from dumping dead bodies in rivers, the Uttar Pradesh government is seeking help from religious leaders. Reportedly, CM Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to have a deliberation with the religious leaders in order to make people aware about the detrimental effect of such dumping. The government has also ordered to keep a vigil around all the rivers of the state.
