Actor Riz Ahmed Becomes First Muslim To Receive An Oscar Nomination

Oscar nominee, Riz Ahmed has chastised Hollywood for its cliched and "toxic" representation of the Muslim population in its film. The 38-year-old British-Pakistani actor is the first Muslim to receive an Oscar nomination for best actor.However, he has started a blueprint for Muslim inclusion campaign to boost the community's presence in filmmaking. He has singled out several movies like "Hurt Locker" and "Argo" as 'frankly racist'.
