PM Modi To Visit Uttarakhand To Lay Foundation Stone Of 11 Projects

PM Narendra Modi will visit Uttarakhand's Dehradun on December 4 to lay foundation stones of 11 development projects worth Rs 18,000 crores. During the tour, he'll also inaugurate the ambitious Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor, several road projects, and a 340-m tunnel near Dat Kaali temple. Most of the inauguration projects mainly focus on travel and tourism, road safety, water supply, and infrastructure of Dehradun.

Government Allots Highway Projects Worth Over Rs 6000-Cr

The Centre has approved highway projects focusing on seven states and union territories including Maharashtra, Assam and Ladakh. According to the Road Transport Ministry, a project costing Rs 810 crore has been approved in Andhra Pradesh and Ladakh gets projects worth Rs 779 crore. Meanwhile, Maharashtra and Assam get development projects worth Rs 2,000 crore and Rs 1,259 crore respectively.
