Auto Driver Robbed Of His Gold Chain Worth Rs 50,000
In Mumbai's Mira Road, an auto-driver identified as Rajendra Rama Yadav (50) was robbed off a gold chain worth Rs 50,000, confirmed police on March 23. Notably, two people posing as passengers allegedly offered a cold drink to Rajendra. In the drink, the thieves posed as passengers and felt unconscious, and woke up two days later, at a hospital. Later, the auto-driver rushed to the police and registered a case.

Delhi Police Arrest 2 Accused In Burglary At BJP Office
The Delhi Police arrested two people, Shekhar (21) and a juvenile, accused of robbery at the BJP MLA Om Prakash Sharma's office in Delhi's Vishwas Nagar. The accused were arrested allegedly broke the window of the office, on February 10, and stole items like two televisions, five water taps, a crockery set and a water motor. The accused involved in other cases, were arrested with the help of CCTV footage.

Singer Rohanpreet Singh Robbed During Vacation In Himachal Pradesh
Rohanpreet Singh, who is married to Neha Kakkar, was looted of some personal belongings on May 14 while on holiday in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Among the things stolen from Rohanpreet's hotel room were a diamond ring, an iPhone, and an Apple watch. Mandi Superintendent of Police, Shalini Agnihotri said that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway. Further details are awaited.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's New Delhi residence has reportedly been robbed off and thieves have stolen cash and jewellery worth Rs. 1.41 crore, confirmed sources. Kapoor's mother-in-law filed a complaint at the Tughlaq Road police station, which kept the issue out of media light. Notably, the senior police officials from the New Delhi district took the case seriously and formed special squads to carry out the investigation.

BJP MLA's Son Booked For Assault In Uttar Pradesh
Shyam Bahadur Singh, a resident of Ramnagar village, Faizabad, UP, filed a FIR against BJP MLA Ram Chandra's son Alok Yadav. In his complaint, Bahadur said, Alok along with others allegedly assaulted him and snatched a bag of Rs 1 lakh. The victim also said if anything happens to him and his family, MLA Chandra and his son will be responsible. Furthermore, Ayodhya SSP Shailesh Pandey is investigating the matter.

Raj Trading Company Owner Robbed By Masked Men: Uttar Pradesh
Raj Trading company owner Dharmendra Gupta was robbed by two masked men on a motorcycle, on April 5. The incident occurred in UP's Parmanandpur village when Gupta was about to open to his shop, reported PTI. Reportedly, the two unidentified men robbed Rs 5 lakh from Gupta. "An alert has been issued and attempts are on to mad them," said Senior Superintendent of Police O P Singh.

200 Kg Silver, Rs 1 Lakh Cash Robbed At Gun Point In Uttar Pradesh's Agra
In Uttar Pradesh's Agra, 200 kg of silver and Rs 1 lakh cash were robbed by four robbers at gunpoint on the Agra-Gwalior highway on January 19 at 12:45 pm. Robbers robbed the silver and cash when it was transported by a courier company staffer. The robbers were in a car. The district's borders have been sealed and soon robbers will be arrested, ADG Rajiv Krishna told India Today.

Police Arrest 5 Persons In Robbery Case: Delhi
Police on January 13, claimed to have arrested five people, including two employees of mobile accessories firm in Delhi, on charges of robbing over Rs 17 lakh belonging to the firm. Police said that the accused were interrogated, before they confessed. Reportedly, Rs 16.80 lakh of money, mobile phones, autorickshaw and a two wheeler were recovered during raids. Notably, one of the accused had filed a compliant about the robbery.

J&K Police Lends Rs 1 Lakh From His Pocket To 90-Year-Old 'Chana' Vendor
Abdul Rehman, 90, roadside "channa" vendor in Srinagar's Bohri Kadal district, on November 14, was looted of his personal money by robbers. He had set aside the funds for his final rites. The burglars assaulted Rehman and took Rs 1 lakh from him. Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Chaudhary stepped in to assist him and gave him Rs 1 lakh out of his own money, which made the seller happy.
