J&K Police Lends Rs 1 Lakh From His Pocket To 90-Year-Old 'Chana' Vendor
Abdul Rehman, 90, roadside "channa" vendor in Srinagar's Bohri Kadal district, on November 14, was looted of his personal money by robbers. He had set aside the funds for his final rites. The burglars assaulted Rehman and took Rs 1 lakh from him. Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Chaudhary stepped in to assist him and gave him Rs 1 lakh out of his own money, which made the seller happy.

US Marshals Take 52 Yrs To Identify Wanted Man For Cleveland's Largest Heists
Theodore "Ted" Conrad reportedly robbed $215,000 from Cleaveland's Society National Bank on July 11, 1969. Conrad disappeared after the crime and left detectives "perplexed" for years. 5 Yr Old Smartphone Saves Owner's Life: Brazil
A five-year-old Moto G5 smartphone saved a man's life, with an infamous Marvel comic character Hulk's picture on the back cover. The incident took place in Brazil, where a robbery took place, firing a bullet on the victim, that was stopped by the smartphone. The bullet had reportedly grazed on the owner's hip ending up with small bruises.

Deputy Labour Commissioner In J&K Administration Robbed In Delhi
A deputy labour commissioner in the Jammu and Kashmir administration was robbed by two miscreants in the Khanpur area of South Delhi on October 16. The initial probe revealed that she was allegedly robbed by 'Thak Thak' gang members. The incident took place two to three days ago, when the victim was going to Faridabad in her car. Reportedly, two scooter-borne men stopped and robbed her. Police investigation is underway.

Indian Idol Contestant Arrested In 100 Cases Of Robbery: Delhi
Two-time taekwondo Gold Medalist and Indian Idol Season 4 contestant, Suraj aka 'Fighter' was arrested in West Delhi for allegedly being involved in over 100 cases of snatching and robbery on September 27. He and his two accomplices committed robbery on a motorbike while armed with a country-made gun and a knife. Police discovered a country-made gun, 55 cellphones, and five two-wheelers from him.

Collection Agent Robbed By 3 Armed Man In Noida
Three armed men looted over Rs 10 lakh from a private company’s collection agent on August 19 in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida. The agent was riding a motorcycle when he was stopped by the men who snatched away the money from him. After the initial calculation, the money stands at between Rs 10-15 lakh. Besides, the SHO of the Sector 39 police station has been suspended due to his negligence.

Man Gets Stuck Behind ATM While Stealing
Upendra Rai from Bihar, while trying to rob a privately-owned ATM got stuck behind the machine on August 6 near Tamil Nadu’s Mohanur. Reportedly, the visitors at ATM heard an unusual sound on August 5 and alerted the police. After inquiry, the police found that Rai was a worker at the poultry feed unit in Baralli. The police are probing into the case for further details.

Chandigarh Crime Branch Nabs Security Guard Under Bank Robbery
Chandigarh crime branch police arrested a security guard Sunil Kumar on April 14, in a robbery of Rs 4.04 crore from the Axis bank. Deployed by MSF security agency, Kumar was at night duty on April 11 and went missing while the currency chest of the bank was damaged. However, the CCTV footages revealed Kumar taking two packets containing 20 bundles of Rs 2,000 notes.

Bus Passengers Robbed On Yamuna Expressway At Midnight
Unknown people pretending to be passengers looted a bus travelling from Delhi to Hamirpur via the Yamuna Expressway on April 6. Reportedly, those people got on the bus at 12:30 am, fought with the conductor and robbed valuables worth Rs 1.66 lakhs including mobile phones. Moreover, the group also had a gun with them. The police are investigating the matter with forensic teams and dog squads.

Overjoyed UP Thief Suffers Heart Attack After Looting Rs 7 Lakh
In a bizarre incident, a thief suffered a heart attack after he was overjoyed with a successful heist of Rs 7 lakh from a public service centre in Bijnor, UP. The thief, Ejaz, and his accomplice Naushad had committed the robbery in mid-February. However, Ejaz soon suffered the heart attack and had to spend a large amount of the looted money on treatment. Arresting them from Alipur, the police have recovered Rs 3.7 lakh.
