Robert Lewandowski Turns Down Chelsea, PSG & Joins Barcelona
FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta stated that the "Catalans" had to compete for Robert Lewandowski's signature on a contract with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain "where he could earn more money." The Polish striker signed a four-year deal with FC Barcelona this summer in order to embark on a new adventure. The 33-year-old cleared his medical on July 18 in Miami, Florida, where FC Barcelona is preparing for the upcoming season.

Robert Lewandowski Awarded UEFA Men's Player of The Year
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski on September 2 was entitled UEFA's Men's player of the year. The Polish star put up a great performance this season, leading Bayern to win 3 trophies. Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga, UEFA Super Cup, and the German Cup, wherein the striker netted 55 goals. "It's an amazing feeling because you work so hard, so this trophy is something special," said Lewandowski.
