Russian Rocket Angara-A5 To Be Launched On Dec 23

The Russian heavy-lift rocket, Angara-A5 will reportedly be launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, which is the third of 17 such launches which is scheduled to take place before 2028. A source said, "the launch of Angara-A5 will take place on December 23 at 18:00 [Moscow time, 15:00 GMT]." Furthermore, the reserve date for the launch is scheduled on December 24. Besides, the first launch took place on December 23, 2014.

NASA And SpaceX Sends 4 Astronauts Into Orbit

Veteran spacewalker, two young crewmates, and a German materials scientist, on November 10, were sent to the International Space Station, jointly by NASA and SpaceX. NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida deployed the SpaceX-built launch vehicle, which consisted a Crew Dragon spacecraft and a two-stage Falcon 9 rocket. The liftoff of the Dragon spacecraft, named Endurance by the crew, was aired live from Cape Canaveral on NASA TV.

Israel Intercepts Another Rocket Fired by Palestinian Militants

Amid the tussle between Israel and Palestine, the Israeli military again managed to intercept a rocket fired by Palestinian militants on the night of September 12. Notably, the militants have been trying to attack Israeli forces as they captured four fugitives out of six who escaped from an Israeli jail last week. The tension is already high at the border area because Hamas doesn't want Israel's interfere in Gaza.

For First, No Casualties Reported In Israel-Gaza Conflict Since May 10

Warring Israeli-Palestinian sides on May 18 reported zero casualties which gave a ray of hope of possibly pacifying situation in the contentious region since May 10. Reportedly, the fighting caused hundreds of civilian casualties including children. However, despite this, there seems to be no signs of a ceasefire between the two forces. Notably, world leaders have  called for a ceasefire in what is one of the most deadliest conflicts.

SpaceX's Third Starship Rocket Explodes During Its Test Flight

Elon Musk-owned SpaceX's another prototype of the Starship rocket exploded on the ground on March 3. The test flight, SN10, of the SpaceX's futuristic ambitious project burst into flames on the launch pad minutes after its take off. Interestingly, the rocket made for the ongoing Mars mission was third such accident as its earlier two prototypes, SN8 and SN9, had also resulted in crash landing. The test was held at Boca Chica in Texas.
