After 6 Years, Russia Successfully Test Launches Rocket Angara 5

Russian space agency Roscosmos has stated that it successfully test-launched its Angara A5 rocket after it faced manufacturing delays and technical issues for six years. President Vladimir Putin has claimed that this heavy-lift space rocket plays a major role in the nation's security. Reportedly, the Angara can carry payloads larger than 20 tonnes into orbit. However, the launchpad for the rocket will be opened in 2021

ISRO Successfully Launches Earth Imaging Satellite 'EOS-01'

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on November 7 successfully launched the latest earth observation satellite ‘EOS-01’ and nine other from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. The satellites were launched by Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C49) which lifted off at 3:12 PM. Iraq: Rocket Strike Targetting US Troops Kills Five Civilians

Five Iraqi civilians lost their lives to a rocket attack on September 28 that targetted the US troops at Baghdad Airport. The attack came following the US's threat of closing its embassy and withdrawing its troops. However, no rebel group has claimed the responsibility yet. Iraqi army criticised the attack, saying the groups wanted to "create chaos and terrorise people". The US has asked Iraq to take "decisive action".
