Rohan Bopanna & Matwe Middelkoop Proceed To Semi-Finals: French Open 2022

At the French Open 2022, India's Rohan Bopanna and his Dutch partner Matwe Middelkoop advanced to the semi-finals after defeating the British-Finnish pair of Lloyd Glasspool and Henri Heliovaara. Glasspool and Heliovaara were defeated in two hours and four minutes by Bopanna and Middlekoop. Bopanna and Middelkoop will play against El Salvador's Marcelo Arevalo and the Netherlands' Jean-Julien Roger.

Rohan Bopanna & Matwe Middelkoop Defeat Wimbledon Champions At French Open

Rohan Bopanna and Matwe Middelkoop averted five match points to defeat Mate Pavic and Nikola Mektic, the defending Wimbledon champions, at Roland Garros on May 28. Bopanna, therefore, matched his best result at the clay-court major by entering the quarterfinals. Later, Bopanna teamed up with Slovenia's Andreja Klepac to win the mixed doubles tournament effortlessly against America's Asia Muhammad and Britain's Lloyd Glasspool.

Bopanna, Sania Slam AITA After False Claim Of A Chance To Qualify

Rohan Bopanna slammed AITA in a tweet on July 19 for "misleading the players, government, media and everyone else" after claiming he still had a chance to qualify for Tokyo Olympics. Sania Mirza, Bopanna's supposed mixed doubles partner at Tokyo Games, replied, "India lost a good shot at a medal".  AITA reiterated back by claiming withdrawals shouldn't have been the way to get in for a good player.

'Indo-Pak Express': Bopanna-Qureshi To Pair Up Again At ATP 500 Mexican Open

India's Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi are all set to team up again at the ATP 500 Mexican Open, starting from March 15. Popularly known as the 'Indo-Pak Express', Bopanna (rank 40) and Qureshi (rank 49) were close to winning the US Open back in 2010. About the reunion, Qureshi hops to "help each other and get back to winning ways". Meanwhile, the fans are pouring-in best wishes to the duo over social media.

Astana Open: Sharan and Bopanna Out Before Men's Doubles Semi-Finals

India’s campaign in the men’s doubles ended as Divij Sharan and Rohan Bopanna faced defeats with their partners at the Astana Open in Kazakhstan. Sharan and his partner Luke Bambridge lost in the quarterfinals to Max Purcell and Luke Saville with 3-6, 5-7. Whereas Bopanna and his partner Frederick Nielsen lost to Marcelo Arevalo and Tomislav Brkic in the first round by 6-7(5), 7-6(3), 10-5.

Italian Open: Bopanna-Shapovalov Lose Quarterfinals Against French Pair

The Indian-Canadian pair, Rohan Bopanna and Denis Shapovalov, were defeated in the quarterfinals of Italian Open men's doubles in Foro Italico. They lost with a score of 6-4, 5-7, 7-10 in the tie-breaker on September 18. The duo gave a tough fight to the French pair, Jeremy Chardy and Fabrice Martin. Bopanna-Shapovalov pair had recently made a reach to the US Open Quarterfinals held earlier this month.
