The Himachal Pradesh state government has signed an MoU with the National Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML) for the construction of ropeways under the Parvatmala scheme. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has described it as a significant MoU. As many as seven ropeway projects reaching a total length of 57.1 kilometres would be constructed in the state. This would cost up to Rs 3.232 crores.
