Roshan baig

A day after arrest of former Congress minister Roshan Baig, a team of 12 CBI officials on November 23 raided his Bengaluru residence. The minister, who has been remanded to judicial custody for 14 days, was arrested in connection with a Rs 2,500 crore Ponzi scheme, which duped over 51,500 depositors. The seven-time MLA is currently lodged in Parapanna Agrahara jail. He was suspended from the Congress party in 2019.
