Roshni Act

J&K's Former Deputy CM and BJP leader Kavinder Gupta was an illegal occupant of state land since 2010 to 2017, an RTI filed in the Bhalwal Tehsildar revealed. Gupta had called the transfer of state land under the Roshni Act "land jihad" during the DDC elections in November 2020. "I don’t know how and when revenue officials entered a girdawari state land at Ghaink in my name", Gupta stated.
