Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle will skip the funeral of Prince Philip on doctor's advice as she is expecting her second child. Scheduled for April 17, the COVID restriction-led scaled down funeral will be held at St George's Chapel. The 99-year-old, Prince Philip, aka Duke of Edinburgh died on April 9. However, Prince Harry, who moved to Los Angeles after accusing the Royal family of discrimination, will attend the funeral.

Prince Philip passed away at the age of 99, United Kingdom will observe a 30-day mourning

In the early morning hours of April 9, the Duke of Edinburgh, His Royal Highness Prince Philip passed away peacefully in Windsor Castle. He was 99 years old and was the longest-reigning consort in the monarchy having married Queen Elizabeth in 1947. The country will observe a 30-day mourning period before the Queen can resume her public duties. He officially retired from royal duties in May 2020 after 22,219 solo engagements.
