The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief, Mohan Bhagwat, has been admitted to the Kingsway Hospital in Nagpur after testing positive for COVID-19. Bhagwat had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 9. Urdu Body's 'Must Presence' Order For RSS Chief's Book Launch Triggers Row
National Urdu council NCPUL's order mandating staff's presence for the launch of 'Mustaqbil Ka Bharat' book has received a flak from Urdu intellectuals. The Urdu body had said that show cause notice will be issued to individuals failing to attend the event. While Urdu intellectuals condemned the decision, the NCPUL called the order a routine one. The book is an Urdu translation of RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s 'Bhavishya ka Bharat'.

Dattatreya Hosabale Takes Charge As RSS General Secretary

Bhopal Admin Imposes Curfew Over RSS-linked Construction Work
Bhopal's district administration on January 17 imposed a curfew in three areas after a construction work was initiated by an RSS-linked trust on a disputed land. After receiving SDM’s order in its favour, the trust had started constructing boundary around the 20,000 sq ft disputed plot, which has been claimed as a graveyard by MP Waqf Board. The curfew was imposed in Teela Jamalpura, Hanumanganj and Gautam Nagar police stations' areas.

J&K: RSS Starts Participation Drive To Collect Funds For Ram Mandir
Suresh ‘Bhaiyyaji’ Joshi, general secretary of the RSS, on January 14 launched a drive in J&K to collect funds for Ayodhya's Ram Mandir construction. Reaching out to the people and asking for their active participation, Joshi said that the drive also aims to connect with the people and society. The drive started as a part of the RSS’ nationwide campaign to collect funds for the temple's construction will continue till February 27.
