Taliban Barred Entry Of Women Without Hijab Into Outdoor Restaurant

The Taliban barred entry of families and women into restaurants with gardens or green spaces in Herat province, confirmed local news. The decision came after religious clerics complained of mixing genders in such places. Afghan officials said that the curbs have been brought in place because of gender mixing or because women allegedly are not wearing the hijab. Notably, the outdoor dining ban only applies to establishments in Herat.

Karnataka HC Directs Govt To Strictly Adhere To Regulations During Protests

Karnataka High Court ordered authorities to closely enforce the "Licensing and Regulation of Protests, Demonstrations and Protest Marches (Bengaluru City) Orders 2021" in order to resolve public interest litigation. The Karnataka Police Act directives limit demonstrations in Bengaluru to "Freedom Park." After protests and rallies on March 2, last year created huge traffic problems in the city, the court began the PIL on its own.

RBI To Change NACH Rule From August 1

RBI has changed the rule of the National Automated Clearing House (NACH), from August 1. Salaries and pensions will be credited to individuals’ bank account not only on weekdays but throughout the week. RBI governor, Shantikanta Das, asserted that to enhance the convenience of customers and to experience the benefit of 24x7 Real Time Gross Settlement, NACH will be working seven days a week.
