Rummy, Dream 11, Other Games To Be Available On Playstore As Pilot Project
Rummy apps and DFS games incorporated in India will soon be distributed for the pilot’s limited period on Google Playstore, for a specific duration. These games won’t be using in-app billing or be available as paid apps, under another pilot. Under this new way, Playstore allowed some apps to use an alternative billing system. Moreover, the gaming industry in India is huge, with Dream 11 alone generating 51% revenue.

In an unconventional video, a horse surprised everyone for playing rummy by sitting on a bean bag with a woman. The video was shared by a Reddit user. He captioned, ''Horse on a bean bag playing cards???" One can see in the video, a woman holding cards and giving a treat to the horse each time it picked a card. Kerala Govt Amends Gaming Act To Ban Online Rummy
The Kerala government on February 27, by amending the Kerala Gaming Act, 1960, declared the online rummy game illegal. Online Rummy and Poker Banned in Andhra Pradesh, Offenders to be Punished
On September 3, Andhra Pradesh banned online rummy and poker games under AP Gaming Act of 1974. The decision came after Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s approval. The state’s information minister Perni Venkataramaiah stated that the organizers of the game would be sentenced to jail for up to 2 years with fine. The players will also be sentenced to six months of imprisonment if found playing them.
