Rupee Gains By 14 Paise, Stands At 98.74 Against US Dollars
The rupee gained 14 paise to 81.67 against the US dollar in early trade on July 25, tracking the weakness of the American currency in the overseas market. However, a surge in crude oil prices capped sharp gains for the local unit, forex traders said. At the interbank foreign exchange, the domestic unit opened at 81.74, then touched a high of 81.67 against the American currency.

Rupee Appreciates By 36 Paise At 79.17
In the closing market trend, the rupee appreciated by 36 paise to Rs 79.17 against US Dollar, on September 13.he dollar index, which measures the greenback's strength against a basket of six currencies, fell 0.40 per cent to 107.89. In addition, Brent crude futures, the global oil benchmark, advanced 0.96 per cent to USD 94.87 per barrel.
