Mid-Day Meals To Be Served On Dining Table With 'Dignity': MP

In MP government schools, students can now have "dignified Mid-Day meals" by sitting on dining tables, a departure from the current system of dining on the mat floor.  Rural development minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia recommended the idea of installing benches for the students in Guna district, MP. The scheme is worth 50,000 per school and aims to cover 100 schools under 80 Grampanchyat in Bamori.

Rural Development Min To Assist In Centre's Land Monetisation Push

Adding thrust to the budget’s ‘asset monetisation’ mantra, the Rural Development Ministry has offered its support to the Centre in identifying the idle assets and land parcels available with ministries.
