Russia ‘Kidnaps’ Head Of Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant In Zaporizhzhia
Russia has been accused of “kidnapping” the head of nuclear power plant in Ukraine’s Russia occupied Zaporizhzhia. The victim identified as Ihor Murashov was reportedly detained while on his way to the town of Enerhodar. Murashov was taken at around 4 pm on September 30. “He was taken out of the car, and with his eyes blindfolded he was driven in an unknown direction, said a state agency.

World Bank Announces $530 Million Additional Aid To Ukraine Amid Russian Invasion
The World Bank has announced to provide an additional aid of $530 million to Ukraine amid the ongoing war against Russia. The World Bank also stated that United Kingdom’s contribution to the addition aid is $500 million, and Kingdom of Denmark’s contribution is $30 million. With this, the total aid provided by World Bank to Ukraine is $13 billion. Of which, $11 billion has been fully disbursed.

Afghanistan To Buy Oil, Gas & Wheat From Russia At ‘Special Discount’, Signs Deal
The Taliban-led Afghanistan government has signed a trade deal with Russia to buy oil, gas and wheat at a discounted price. Afghanistan’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry spokesperson Abdul Salam Jawad Akhundzada said that the imports will commence “within days of weeks”. Happy with the deal, Akhundzada said that Afghanistan wishes to continue making such deals with Russia in the future.

Japan Bans Export Of Chemical-Related Goods To Russia Amid Nuclear Scare
Japan has announced to ban the export of chemical-related good to Russia, following Russia’s nuclear threats against Ukraine. Ukraine Suffered $1 Trillion Loss Since Beginning Of Russian Invasion: Ukraine’s Economic Advisor
A Kyiv government official said that the country of Ukraine has suffered damages worth at least $1 trillion since the beginning of the Russian invasion. Economic advisor to president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Oleg Ustenko, said that the damages include “direct and indirect costs”. He further stated that the figure is equivalent to five times Ukraine’s annual GDP. He also said, Ukraine suffered $100 billion in losses, after the first two weeks.

Vladimir Putin Assassination Attempt: Putin’s Car Attacked, Driven To Safety As Smoke Emerged Out

Ukraine Sees Minor Victory! Recaptures Over 20 Settlements In Last 24 Hours
Ukraine has claimed to have recaptured over 20 settlements in the last 24 hours. Ukrainian troops have strategically gained control over 20 settlements which were captured by Russian troops. Pentagon Sends ‘Most Accurate’ US Artillery Shell To Ukraine
Amid the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Pentagon has sent its most accurate artillery shell to Ukraine. The equipment is a GPS-guided Excalibur, and will be added to the arsenal assembled to combat Russia. The Excalibur was reportedly first used in Iraq, in 2007, in the high-profile killing of Al-Qaeda leader Abu Jurah. Reportedly the Excalibur has a range of 25 miles (40.5 kms).

US Calls For Security Council Meeting To Discuss Ukraine Crisis
French Ambassador to the United Nations Nicolas De Riviere said that the USA has requested for a UN Security Council meeting on September 7, to discuss the Ukraine crisis. On September 6, a meeting on Ukraine has been scheduled, which was requested by Russia, focusing on the situation in and around Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. As of now, three meeting have been scheduled to discuss the Ukraine issue in September.
