Blinken, Austin Meet Zelensky In 1st Major US Visit Since Russian Conflict Started
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin have met with Ukrainian President Zelensky for the first time since the Russia-Ukraine conflict began. While the US diplomats and officials did not announce their plans to visit, it was the Ukrainian President who shared the news. He stated that he would be using this meeting to push for greater military assistance.

Canada Slaps Sanctions On Russian Central Bank Chief, Others

Russia Welcomes India's Approach On Ukraine-Russia Issue, Tweets
On February 18, Russia welcomed the stand of India in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine border issue. The Russian Embassy in India took to Twitter and said, "We welcome #India's balanced, principled and independent approach". Notably, on February 18, said they will focus on the safety of people, and have no plans of evacuation from Ukraine. It also said, " quiet and constructive diplomacy" is the need of the hour.
