"Should We Hang Ourselves?": Min Sadananda Gowda On Vaccine Shortage
Chemical and Fertilizers minister DV Sadananda Gowda vented out his frustration when asked about the pertaining vaccine shortage in India. Talking to reporters on May 13, he said, "I want to ask you, if the court says tomorrow that you have to give this much (vaccine), if it has not been produced, should we hang ourselves?" He also discarded allegations of political motives and assured of improvement in the situation.

Minister Sadananda Gowda Faints Due To Low BP, Admitted To Hospital
Union Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister DV Sadananda Gowda was admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru on January 3 after he fainted due to drop in the blood sugar levels. The 67-year-old minister, who is a diabetic, fainted as he was apparently late for lunch by an hour while returning from a function. According to reports, he is out of risk but would be kept under doctors' observation.
