Kerala HC Says Women Must Not Be Discriminated For Night Shift Jobs
Kerala High Court judge Justice Anu Sivaraman has ordered that women should not be discriminated in the workplace on the basis of night shifts. She observed that the officials and fellow colleagues should create a safe working environment for women regardless of the time. She also allowed women to apply for the post of safety officer in the Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd (KMML) factory that was earlier prohibited.

COVID Vaccination To Be Conducted At Workplaces From April 11
The Centre has decided to allow COVID-19 vaccination at public and private workplaces from April 11. However, the workplaces should have about 100 "eligible and willing beneficiaries" in order to conduct the inoculation at the premises. The government has asked state governments and UTs to initiate consultations with employers and management in this regard. UK Plans to Revive Economy, Urges People to Return to Work
In order to revive the COVID-19 hit economy, the British Government is making workplaces safer and requesting people to return to work. Speaking on the new campaign, Transport Minister Grant Shapps on August 28 said, “Our central message is pretty straightforward: we are saying to people it is now safe to return to work.” As of now, UK has reported 330,000 coronavirus cases with 41,477 deaths.
