Kerala Government Issues "Red" Alert In Different Districts

A Red alert has been issued on 18th October for the "Kakki Reservoir" in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. Different districts of the state have also been alerted near the reservoir area as the Dam Safety Authority feels more trouble to come, among which includes, Idukki dam reservoir receiving an orange alert, and a blue alert for Idamalayar reservoir in Ernakulam District.

Considering the young generation, Instagram will soon introduce a new safety feature that will require the user's birth date confirmation. The idea is to provide the right content at the right age said Instagram in a blog post. Besides, a new version of the app is being created for those under 13 years of age, also children below the age of 16 will have a private account by default.

NCRB: Uttar Pradesh Registers Lowest Crime Against Women In 2020

Challenging the opposition's campaign against the UP government's law and order, a recent data revealed by the National Crime Records Bureau, claims reduced crime rate in the state. The state registered lowest crimes against the women compared to the 21 major states in the country. Reportedly, the rape cases in the state also reduced by 45.43% in 2020 and recorded the highest conviction in cyber-crimes.
