PM Narendra Modi, on February 5, unveiled 216 feet tall statue of Saint Ramanujacharya. Known as "Statue of Equality" the inauguration event was held near Swami Chinna Jeeyar Ashram in Shamshabad. PM Modi To Unveil 216-Foot 'Statue Of Equality' Dedicated To Saint Ramanujacharya
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will unveil the statue of saint Ramanujacharya in Hyderabad, on February 5. The Rs 1,000-crore project was funded by donations from devotees globally. The inner sanctorum deity of Sri Ramanujacharya is made of 120 kilos of gold to commemorate the 120 years the saint spent on earth. Also, 1035 yajna and mass mantra chanting will be organised. The Events will begin from February 2.
