Samyukt Kisan Morcha Issues Guidelines For 'Bharat Bandh' On Sept 27
The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) protesting against three farms laws has issued guidelines for Bharat Bandh to be held on September 27, starting from 6 AM to 4 PM. Farmer union promised to keep a peaceful protest. During protest offices, markets, schools, colleges are not allowed to function, but emergency services will be allowed to avoid inconvenience to public. SKM will hold a preparatory meeting on September 20.

Farm Leader Rakesh Tikait Bats For Resumption Of Talks With Centre
Bharatiya Kisan Union head Rakesh Tikait has shown interest in resumption of talks with the Centre ahead of May 26, which will mark six months of the farm protests. He said, "When the government wants to talk, the Samyukt Kisan Morcha will talk." Meanwhile, they have planned to hold a nationwide protest to observe the six-month anniversary as "black day", which has garnered support from many political parties as well.

Singhu Border Farmers Open One-Side Of Highway For Oxygen, Ambulances
The farm law protestors, including Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), on April 22 agreed to clear one-side of the highway at the Singhu border for passage of oxygen, ambulances and other services. The protestors claimed to be supportive in the battle against pandemic and "are committed to causing least inconvenience to ordinary citizens".
