K'taka HC Rejects Criminal Revision Plea Filed By Suspect In Drug Case

In the Sandalwood drug case, the Karnataka High Court has rejected two criminal revision petitions filed by the suspect, Rijesh Ravindran. Arrested in August last year by NCB after being informed by another suspect, the NCB seized 40 grams/tablets of MDMA and 180 blots of LSD. Upon hearing the suspect's counsel's argument, the NCB's counsel contradicted him with the significance of Section 364 (1) (d) of NDPS Act.

Actress Ragini Dwivedi Sent to Judicial Custody in Sandalwood Drug Case

The First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court on September 14 ordered a judicial custody of 14 days for Ragini Dwivedi and four others for their alleged involvement in drug racket. Other accused including Sanjjanaa Galrani will continue to be in CCB custody for three more days. Ragini, Niyas, Loom Pepper, Prashanth Ranka, and Rahul were moved to the Central Prison, Parappana Agrahara late in the evening of September 14.

CCB Enquiry Reveals Exclusive Apartments Reserved for Drug parties: Bangalore

Central Crime Branch said, the accused in the drug racket case have revealed that few apartments in Bangalore were exclusively being used to run drug parties and after-parties. A police officer said, "We will take the accused to these flats for further investigation." Reportedly, these parties were restricted to few selected people and the information regarding the venue were kept hidden till the last minute, to evade police.

Sandalwood Actress Ragini Dwivedi Allegedly Cheats On Her Drug Test; Diluted her Urine Sample

According to the source, South Indian actress Ragini Dwivedi had to go through her drug test twice as she had initially tampered her urine sample. Reportedly, she added water, but the doctors were able to identify it. Dwivedi has been arrested under the 'Sandalwood drug racket' on September 4. To identify the consumption of Drug, the hair samples of Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani's has been sent to Hyderabad for the clinical test.
