Gangubai Kathiawadi To Release On Feb 25; Bombay HC Dismisses Petition
The Bombay HC on February 23, approved the release of Alia Bhatt's upcoming movie "Gangubai Khathiawadi" without any trouble. Notably, Congress MLA Amin Patel filed a petition, saying the film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali portrays Kamathipura as a red light area, posing it and people there in a bad light. However, the Court dismissed the petition and said, the movie will release on February 25, without any hindrance.

Sanjay Leela Bansali’s collaboration with Netflix is about to set for a release of a web series titled Heeramandi. The series will showcase the life of sex workers in Lahore before India’s independence. "It is a huge saga about the courtesans of Lahore, it is something I was living with for 14 years.
