Sankara Award

Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa (16) received the 'Sankara Award' 2022, on March 17. In addition, Praggnanandhaa received the award and cash worth Rs 1 Lakh at an event held at Kalady. "I am happy about the award. You should enjoy whatever you do and give 100% the best in everything you do,'' stated Praggnanandhaa. Notably, Praggnanandhaa is the youngest chess player ever to defeat world champion Magnus Carlsen.
