Actor-politician Sarath Kumar and his wife Radhika have been sentenced to one-year imprisonment, in each of seven cheque bounce cases. Chennai’s special court for MPs and MLAs also asked the couple to pay Rs 3.33 crore as compensation to the complainants. However, the sentence has been deferred for 30 days following an appeal against it. Reportedly, Sarath and Radhika had borrowed Rs two crore from Radiance Media, a film-financing company.… read-more
