Indian Economist Ligia Noronha Becomes Assistant Secy-General Of UN
Indian economist Ligia Noronha has been appointed as the Assistant Secretary-General of the UN. She has also been given charge of the United Nations Environment Programme New York Office. Ligia will replace outgoing Satya Tripathi.
