PM Narendra Modi appreciates artisans and craft workers, who work with hands using tools. At an event, PM Modi called these artisans 'Vishwakarma' and said, "Today's Vishwakarma could be tomorrow's entrepreneurs". The statement was made during a post-budget webinar, attended by PM Narendra Modi. During the same, Modi highlighted the recently launched new scheme for artisans and craftsmen, the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman (PM VIKAS.)

PM Modi To Launch Iconic week Celebration For Finance, Corporate Ministry
PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the "iconic week of celebrations" of the Finance and Corporate Affairs Ministry, marking eight years of governance. The celebration week, from June 6 to June 11, is under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM). Furthermore, during the virtual inauguration, Modi will also launch a series of Rs 1, 2, 5,10, and 20 coins along with a one-stop "Jan-Samarth-Portal" for all credit schemes.

Tamil Nadu Govt Launches New Initiative To Help Road Accident Victims
Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin launched a unique scheme for the citizens of the state. On March 21, MK Stalin said, "People who help those involved in a road accident and take them to a medical care facility within the golden hour period will be rewarded with a certificate of appreciation and a Rs 5,000 cash reward". This is similar to the previous scheme, providing free-medical treatment to road-accident victims.

Hong Kong To Exclude 'COVID Unaffecfed' Companies From Wage Subsidy Scheme
Hong Kong will exclude the large supermarkets, pharmacies, and chain businesses from the next round of government wage subsidies, who remain “unaffected” from the fifth-wave of the Covid-19 outbreak, stated Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam. In addition, people earning over Hong Kong Dollar 30,000 per month won't be benefited from the scheme. Notably, the three-month scheme is targeted to aid about 1.3 million workers.

Tripura Govt Allocates Rs 85 Crores For Tea Workers
Tripura Government has announced Rs 85 crores scheme to ensure the social security of over 7000 tea garden workers. Under the 'Mukhyamantri Chaa Srami Kalyan Prakalpa' scheme of Tripura Government, workers would get housing, rations. "The government decided to provide wages of Rs 176 per day to every worker while it was Rs 105 and at present, it is Rs 130 per person," said Tripura Minister.
