Kriyo: Free Digital Education Platform To Help Teachers, Parents
Kriyo, a comprehensive school management platform developed to ease school operations is helping parents and teachers communicate directly. Created by Suchitra Dasireddy, Shashi Reddy, and Shyam Reddy in 2017, the app is being used in over 2,300 schools from more than 102 countries including India, the US, and South Africa. "We built the Kriyo app keeping in mind the diverse requirements of schools," says Dasireddy.

Physical PTMs To Be Held In Delhi Govt Schools From July 19-31
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced on June 30 that Delhi government schools will hold physical PTMs from July 19 to 31, irrespective of classes to discuss students’ progress. Besides, special PTMs will be held for students in Class 6 who got shifted from municipal to government schools this year. The meetings will be conducted for over two weeks in order to avoid over-crowding.

Andra Pradesh teacher sells fruit after being sacked, former students raise funds to help him
Venkatasubbaiah, who taught Telugu to high school students for nearly 15 years, lost his job. He was seen selling bananas on a pushcart. Hearing about his situation, around 150 students whom he had taught five to six years ago launched a campaign and raised Rs 86,300. The school management sacked him on May 14, as his performance had been unsatisfactory.
