Parwati Sunar, Nepali Mother Of 2, Begins Attending Same School As Her Son

Parwati Sunar, a Nepali mother of two, starts attending the same school as her son after fleeing at the age of 15. In the country of 29 million people, roughly 57% of women are literate, and Sunar, 27, said she intended to become "literate enough" to run her household. "I feel good to go to school with mum," her son, Resham, remarked. Parwati Sunar cultivates a field in Punarbas, Kanchanpur.

7 Held For Forcing Dalit Teen To Not Attend School: Madhya Pradesh

The police in Madhya Pradesh have arrested seven persons for preventing a 16-year-old Dalit girl from attending school. Reportedly, a clash broke out between the family of the girl and the locals involved. The locals allegedly forced the girl to not attend school on the ground that girls in their village do not attend schools. The accused reportedly beat up the girl's brother and other family members.

Delhi Deputy CM Presents Delhi's Education Approach At Education World Forum-2022, London

Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, spoke before 122 education ministers and professionals from around the world at the Education World Forum, 2022 in London on May 23. As per Sisodia, the Delhi administration increased people's faith in the government school system by prioritizing education. Colombian Schools May No Longer Require The Usage Of Face Masks

Colombian schools that satisfy certain conditions will be exempted from wearing face masks in confined places beginning on May 16, according to the Ministry of Health, which announced the change on May 13. Only schools with 70 percent of students and teachers fully vaccinated will be able to lift the mandate. Schools must also have 40 percent of their staff have received a booster dose.

Ministry Of Education Issues Guidelines For Schools To Tackle Heatwave

To prevent the negative impacts of the heatwave, the Ministry of Education issued a list of measures for schools on May 11 in areas such as transportation, health, food, classroom, and uniform. The everyday routine, as well as the school schedule, must be altered. School hours might be shortened, and classes can begin as early as 7 a.m. Furthermore, the suggestion that the school assembly be shortened was also made.

58-Year-Old Odisha MLA Appears For Class 10 Exam

PUC, Degree Colleges To Reopen In Bengaluru, Udupi: Karnataka Hijab Row

The Karnataka government announced to reopen its pre-University and degree colleges in Udupi & Bangalore from February 16. The High schools have also been reopened, following protests and violence over the hijab row. However, the Karnataka High Court, in its interim order, prohibited all the students from wearing saffron shawls or hijab till the final ruling. Moreover, Police force has been posted in Udupi to maintain law and order.
