In a heart-wrenching video which went viral, a truck dragged a six-year-old for nearly 1 km, in Mahoba district. On February 26, an elderly man Udit Narayan Chansauria, and his grandson Satwik died in a horrific accident. While Narayn died on the spot, the truck which hit their scooter, dragged six-year-old Satvik for 1 km.  Angry villagers somehow stopped the truck, following which the driver was arrested by police.

Internet users praised a stationary shopkeeper who bought himself a scooter with a sack full of coins. The video of three men carrying coin sacks and transferring to a plastic basket, posted by YouTuber Hirak J Das went viral on social media platforms winning hearts. The video was captioned, "Today a person bought a scooty with his savings at Alpana Suzuki dealers of Barpeta". 

Piaggio India launched Aprilia SR 125 and Aprilia SR 160, on November 16. The superior version featured a 160-cc BSVI 3VI Tech EFI engine and the base version comes with a 125-cc engine. The Aprilia SR comes installed with antilock braking system (ABS). SR 125 and SR 160 have been priced at Rs 1.07 lakh and Rs 1.17 lakh, respectively. The scooters can be booked for Rs 5,000 (fee).

TVS Motor Company has launched the latest version of the new Ntorq 125 Race XP in India. Priced at Rs. 83,275, the special edition model can reach up to 98kph and has great acceleration in Race mode. While in Street mode, the speed is ideally slower. The scooter features three-tone color along with red-colored alloy wheels. Besides, it offers TVS mobile connect the application with voice assistance.

The Suzuki Burgman Street gets a new blue colour variant. However, the other features and specifications of the new 125 CC scooter are the same as of the former model. The new Burgman Street will cost around Rs 80,000. Besides 'Median Blue No. 2', the scooter has 4 other colour options as well: Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Black No. 2 and Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red.
