Madras HC Hears Plea, Says To Be Tolerant Towards Other Religion
The Madras HC, on February 6, reviewed a petition filed against construction of a church, granted by the district authority. Upholding the permission, the HC said, India is a secular country of diversities and takes pride in it. Single bench judge CV Karthikeyan said, "One of the basic tenets to be followed by every Hindu is tolerance." "The petitioner should learn to live with everybody else around him," said HC.
