Massive Fire Breaks Out In Multi-Storeyed Building, Claims 6 Lives

In Telangana's Secunderabad region,a  massive fire broke out in a multi-storey building on Thursday night, confirmed sources. In the incident, six people including four women, in their mid-20s. Furthermore, the police and fire brigade rushed to the spot, doused the fire and rescued seven people, trapped in the building. An investigation has also been launched to find out the cause of the fire in the building.

Fire In Hotel Kills 6, Leaves Many Injured: Secunderabad

A massive fire broke out in an electric scooter charging unit showroom, located on the first floor of a hotel building in Secunderabad, Telangana. Occurred on the late night of September 12, the fire spread to the other floors, killing six people and leaving many injured. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and a rescue operation is underway, said Hyderabad Commissioner CV Anand. Moreover, Telangana HM Mahmood Ali ordered probe.

Over 45 Agnipath Protestors Arrested In Secunderabad: Telangana

In Telangana, in connection with the protests against Agnipath Scheme, as many as 45 persons were arrested in Secunderabad. Reportedly, on June 17, around 2,000 persons entered the Secunderabad railway station chanting slogans. Congress Leaders Appeal Against Replacing Mahatma Gandhi's Statue: Secunderabad

Senior Congress leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy along with other Congress leaders, appealed to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, against replacing Mahatma Gandhi's statue at Secunderabad's James Street with another statue. Reddy claimed that the TRS government intends on erecting another statue, and shifting the Gandhi statue to a less prominent place. He further stated, "It reminds us of Tuglak's rule. We are against it".

Telangana Govt Extends Free Drinking Water Supply Scheme To SCB

The TRS Government extended the free drinking water supply scheme to Secunderabad. The residence of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) will get 20,000 liter water supply every month. For this extension, the K Chandrashekar Rao Government would spend Rs 16.08 cr and more annually, said TRS Minister T Srinivas Yadav. Furthermore, the scheme will include households, multi-storeyed buildings and complexes, after Aadhar verification.
