In Telangana's Secunderabad region,a  massive fire broke out in a multi-storey building on Thursday night, confirmed sources. In the incident, six people including four women, in their mid-20s. Furthermore, the police and fire brigade rushed to the spot, doused the fire and rescued seven people, trapped in the building. An investigation has also been launched to find out the cause of the fire in the building.

In Telangana, in connection with the protests against Agnipath Scheme, as many as 45 persons were arrested in Secunderabad. Reportedly, on June 17, around 2,000 persons entered the Secunderabad railway station chanting slogans. The TRS Government extended the free drinking water supply scheme to Secunderabad. The residence of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) will get 20,000 liter water supply every month. For this extension, the K Chandrashekar Rao Government would spend Rs 16.08 cr and more annually, said TRS Minister T Srinivas Yadav. Furthermore, the scheme will include households, multi-storeyed buildings and complexes, after Aadhar verification.
