Chhatisgarh CM organised an event to pay homage to 11 personnel who died in Naxal Attack.  As per sources, Bhupesh Baghel visited Dantewada and paid tribute to 11 jawans of the District Reserve Guard (DRG) who were killed in an explosion by Naxals.  After paying homage, the Chhattisgarh CM will hold a high level meeting with the security forces and discuss the Naxal situation in the region.

Two local Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists planning to target the Army's Agniveer recruitment rally were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district. The Jammu and Kashmir police killed two terrorists identified as Aijaaz Rasool Nazar and Shahid Ahmad in an encounter in the Nowgam region of Srinagar, on September 14 night. The terrorists were said to be affiliated with an outfit Ansar-Ghazwat-ul-Hind and were alleged of killing several migrants in the region. The updates were confirmed by the security forces, which launched a joint operation after receiving inputs from terrorists. 

An associate of terrorist organisation Lakshar-e-Taliba was nabbed by some security forces in Pulwama on 3rd May. He was allegedly trying to flee from a checkpoint in Pulwama's Rabitar village. Ammunition has been recovered from the vehicle that he had been driving. The man has been identified as Lateaf Ah Kambay, who lives in the Wakura village of the Ganderbal district.

Based on intelligence inputs, the security forces and police of Jammu & Kashmir, launched a search operation in the Shopian district, on April 6.  The Kashmir Zone Police said, "Encounter has started at Larri area of Shopian.
