Novak Djokovic, the six-time winner, came back from two sets down to overcome Italy's Jannik Sinner in the Wimbledon quarter-finals on July 5. The Serbian, the top seed, advanced to his 11th Wimbledon semi-final. With this victory, the 35-year-old has extended his undefeated streak at Wimbledon to 26 matches. At the French Open 2022, India's Rohan Bopanna and his Dutch partner Matwe Middelkoop advanced to the semi-finals after defeating the British-Finnish pair of Lloyd Glasspool and Henri Heliovaara. Glasspool and Heliovaara were defeated in two hours and four minutes by Bopanna and Middlekoop. Bopanna and Middelkoop will play against El Salvador's Marcelo Arevalo and the Netherlands' Jean-Julien Roger.

Novak Djokovic defeated 13-time champion Rafael Nadal in French open, on June 11. Notably, it was Nadal's first defeat in 14 semi-finals in the French Capital and third in 16 years and 108 matches in the French Open.
