Former Attorney General of India Soli Sorabjee has died of COVID-19 on April 30. He breathed his last at the age of 91. A Padam Vibhushan awardee, Sorabjee was a two-time Attorney General of India and a well-known human rights advocate. He also rendered his services to the United Nations and served as a Special Rapporteur for Nigeria. He had stood in the Supreme Court for several landmark cases.
