Typhoon Hinnamnor: 20,000 Homes Left Without Power In South Korea

Typhoon Hinnamnor has hit southern regions of South Korea, unleashing violent winds and rains on September 6. In wake of which, thousands are evacuated to safety. The typhoon which is considered to be one of the deadliest in a few years, destroyed trees and roads, leaving as many as 20,000 homes without power. Government has put the nation on alert, and has issued warnings on floods, landslides and tidal waves.

South Korean Band TXT Announces Debut World Tour For Concerts

A South Korean music group Tomorrow x will tour Asian cities, Jakarta, Manila, Taipei and Bangkok, following shows in Korea, Japan and the US, for concerts under debut world tour. TXT announced the schedule and details, on June 21.  'TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR IN ASIA' will be held in the aforementioned countries. The months' tour will begin from native, Seoul on July 2, and will continue till October 2022.

North Korea Launches 3 Ballistic Missiles: Seoul's military

North Korea fired three ballistic missiles, stated Seoul's military on May 12. The launch marks the nuclear-armed country's 16th this year. It comes hours after Pyongyang confirmed the country's first-ever cases of Covid-19. The launch was also confirmed by Japan's defence ministry, and the country's coastguard issued a warning to sailors that "North Korea appears to have launched a missile."

South Korea Reports 118,504 Fresh COVID Cases: Covid-19 Update

In the last 24 hours, South Korea reported 118,504 fresh cases of Covid-19, on April 19, reported health authorities. Of which, 834 are said to be in a serious condition, which is down by 16 from the previous day. Also, 130 more deaths were confirmed, taking the total death toll to 21,354. About 86.8% of the toal population have been vaccinated with both the doses, reported ANI.

North Korea Fires Tactical Guided Missiles; Hits Target Island

North Korea has confirmed that the country has test-fired tactical guided missiles on January 17, Yonhap quoted the North's official KCNA. The firing was not attended by North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un. "The two tactical guided missiles launched in the western area of the DPRK, precisely hit the target island in the East Sea of Korea," said the KCNA. The North's version of the US's ATACMS KN-24 was test-fired.
