Dead Fishes Found In Haralur Lake Due To Continuous Sewage Inflow: Bengaluru
Haralur Lake in Bellandur, Bangalore, is degrading by the day owing to sewage infiltration. Dead fish were observed floating on the top of the water body. Create Value From Waste, Use Green Hydrogen: Nitin Gadkari
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on December 2, said that he aims to "create value from waste" and is planning to use green hydrogen to run buses, cars, and trucks in Indian cities. While addressing the sixth National Summit and Financial Inclusion, Union minister said, "I've brought a pilot project car that would run on green hydrogen produced in an oil research institute in Faridabad. I would take a ride in the city to make people believe".

Maharashtra Has Highest Polluted Rivers; About 53 Rivers Impure
According to a report by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), there are 351 polluted rivers across the States and Union Territories. Notably, of which Maharashtra has the highest number of polluted rivers, that is 53, followed by Assam (44), Madhya Pradesh (22), Kerala (21), Gujrat (20), and others. Reportedly, the major cause of the contamination is the discharge of sewage water into the river.
