A woman, alleging Bob Dylan sexually abused her in 1965, has sued him for "assault, battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional stress". The woman, identified as J.C., claimed to have been groomed for sex as a 12-year-old and sexually abused for six weeks by the American singer in his New York's Hotel Chelsea. Dylan's spokesperson stated, "the 56-year-old claims are untrue and will be vigorously defended".

AIADMK has sacked the student’s wing leader K Arunanandham on January 6, citing his arrest under sexual assault case.
