Ahead of Jawan's release, controversy erupted as Shah Rukh Khan visited the Tirupati Temple, in Andhra Pradesh. Following the recent trend of Bollywood fraternity visiting Lord Venkateshwara temple, SRK also sought blessing. However, this move didn't go well with the Muslim Community, who lashed at Shah Rukh Khan, saying, "Islam does not permit idol worship. A momin or true believer of Islam will bow only in front of Allah."

Sameer Wankhede reacted to the recent dilogue of Shah Rukh Khan, in his upcoming film Jawaan. Notably, there's a speculation that, Jawan's dialogue 'Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar' was directed at former NCB chief Sameer Wankhede.  Like the dilogue, Sameer retorted , "I have licked the fire and danced in the ashes of every bridge I ever burned. I fear no hell from you."

Shockingly, clips from Shahrukh Khan's movie 'Jawan' have gone viral. Acting upon it, Red Chillies Entertainment has filed a case against an unidentified individual for alleged theft under the Information Technology Act. The case was lodged at Santacruz police station on August 10. As per the FIR, someone stole clips from the 'Jawan' movie and shared them on Twitter, thereby violating copyright. The probe is underway.
